Other pages in process of being updated and added as neccessary

Welcome to my newly re-designed homepage! I have finaly decided on a format for my pages. Now with that out of the way I can finaly work on making the wide variety of pages that I have always intended to make. I have to give credit to Thomas Brattli at www.bratta.com for the original version of the scripts creating the effects you see here if you have internet explorer or netscape 4.0 and greater.

for more news see [Current Projects] and other subject headings
So you want to know something about me huh? ;-)

I'm a Junior with Senior Standing at Vanderbilt University in Nashville TN. I am enroled in the School of Engineering with a Primary major of Electrical Engineering and a secondary major of Physics from the Collage of Arts and Sciences.

My primary interest is in Physics though I have always like technology and been a "tinkerer". I choose this combination of majors for several reasons. I want to go to graduate school to study for a PhD in Physics. As a physicist, one is responsible for the construction, and maitanance of much electronical equipment in dealing with experiments.

However, it is very difficult to get into graduate school for a Physics PhD as well as tje lack of jobs in Physics, so the primary major of Engineering provides a nice fallback due to the current market for engineers.

I am the Webmaster for the Physics and Astronomy Department, and over the Summer I worked for CERI (the Center for Earthquake Research and Information) located in Memphis (my hometown) as an assistant technition (general computer maintanance) and as a programmer to create and use a database for all the information of earthquakes on history at CERI.

I have many [Interests]. I also am working on scientific papers and such that can be found under [Sci-Tech].
Current Projects:

As you might have noticed, work on my pages is an ongoing task as I would like to discuss and present a large variety of topics. I have fiddled with them and plan to further tinker creating effects that I like, a pale impression of what I think the web should look like. This includes possably making all my pages into one single page. Creating a seemless flow. Like frames without the annoyance of frames and without clogging the back button and history.

I am working on developing an operating system as I don't like windows, mac OS, or Linux. However, as it is just little me working on it and I have little time to spare it will take a long time.

I am an officer in Vanderbilt's anime club and I am working on many projects related to ideas we have for the club.

I have plans for a game though its very low on my list of priorities.

I am also getting back into drawing which I haven't done for quite a while.

I have also begun work on several new books.

I am also gathering peices to begin work on building a few experiments to test some of my ideas. I'm hoping to finish work on the idea, but some of the experiments will also give me some of the information I need to give me information for others. The problem is my utter and total lack of sensing and detector equipment to measure the results. Maybe oneday I'll get access to some hopefully in graduate school at the latest.

Additionaly I am working on my Scientific papers to make them presentable to publishers.
Science and Technology:

As my personal interests is in Physics, potential for Extra-terrestrial intelligence, and advanced technology, this section is devoted to these topics and a few others. I'll be compiling some information on the topics that interest me the most.

I'm currently working on several scientific papers that I'm going to try and get published. I'm not sure exactly how much if any of my own stuff I'm going to put up if/before it gets published.

My ultimate goal is to be able to travel to another star sytem in my lifetime. I can't wait the 400 years people conservatively say.
Interests:

This is a index of my hobbies. There will be pages on Airbrush, Drawing, writing, and Interests such as Science Fiction, Fantasy.
Anime:

New Anime pages added

These page are devoted to all my favorite animes. On these pages you will find a large number of anime clips and animated gifs. For the moment I will simply be redesigning the pages in this new format and add a few of my new anime favs. I now have the capacity to make a huge number of mpg clips and animated gifs, but lack the time to devote to it.
Current Events:

This is a Totally new section under construction

There are many issues that I have taken an interest in that are prevalent currently or fairly recently. For ones related to science and other topics to which I have devoted subject categories for are presented there and not here. These deal more with poilitcs, morals, and other cattegories.
Resources:

New DHML hints for web enthusiasts.

Links added and updated.

A list of resources for this site. They include signing and viewing my lonely guestbook, A page for people making webpages, my links, and my e-mail.
Need some help?

The text scrolls by at a set speed, but don't worry, they repeat ;-).

In the top left, you see some text that appears, scrolls up and then fades away. These are announcements of changes, imporvements, or additions to my sites. Some of the links are for items in this page and take you nowhere, but others are links to other pages in my site.

Don't worry about trying to catch them, all can be found elsewhere in the page such as the menu right bellow it.

Just bellow the changing news fader is the main menu. This menu expands and collapses as you click on the items in red.

These reviel individual links under these subjects as well as links to their main pages. At the same time, when you click it, the Scroller in the middle of the page changes to reviel information about that area.

It provides news about changes in those areas and a general description of what is contained there.

The main element of the page is of course the scroller located in the main body of the page. When you first enter, the [Current News] scroller is activated.

As you are currently located at my main page, there is no [main]. Instead, the top row of links contained in brackets "[]" are the links located under the [Main:] part of the menu.

As these are meant to be contained in this page, clicking these changes the scrolling text as well.

All my other pages will eventauly follow this format, significantly reducing the number of pages in my site and easing maintinance and surfing.
